Myrtle Beach Area Entertainment

Over the past twenty years, the Grand Strand's entertainment industry has undergone an amazing transformation. Gone are the days when vacationers to the area had just a handful of attractions to choose from, and the only "live" entertainment would be the occasional beach music band appearing in one of the clubs in North Myrtle Beach. As the years passed and the theaters were built, live entertainment not only brought a new angle to our area, but also has become one of the most popular vacation activities on the Strand...year-round.

In addition, the Myrtle Beach area amusement venues have grown tremedously and offer a wide variety of activities for all ages. Following is a list of our favorites...

ALLIGATOR ADVENTURE

With over 230 species of animals, this 15-acre park is the world’s largest reptile zoo. Over 1,000 alligators and crocodiles are “at home” here, together with snakes, lizards, frogs, tortoises, tropical birds, Komodo dragon and Albino Alligators. Live shows!

Barefoot Landing is a nature-based attraction along the Grand Strand.
15 superb restaurants give visitors an array of dining options. Stroll the boardwalks and shop more than 100 fine specialty and retail shops or catch a show at the House of Blues or the Alabama Theater. Barefoot Landing opens at 10:00 am seven days a week, year-round; closing hours vary by season.

BROADWAY AT THE BEACH
